- The Roanoke (VA) Times spoke with Cornell's Bill Courtney about the adjustments James Johnson will have to make as he assumes head coaching responsibilities at Virginia Tech.
- The Cornell Daily Sun published its annual list of top athletes at Cornell and lists the following men's basketball players:
Top Freshmen-Shonn Miller (Men’s Basketball, Forward) • Made new rookie records for rebounds (170), blocked shots (46) • Ranked among the Top-10 freshman scorers in Cornell history with 250 points.
Top Juniors-Johnathan Gray (Men's Basketball, Guard)• Fourth on the team in scoring with 8.8 points per game • Named to the U.S. Virgin Islands National Team
TopSeniors-Chris Wroblewski (Men's Basketball, Point guard)-Wroblewski ends a storied career with the Red this year as Cornell’s all-time leader in assists. He also led the team in scoring with 11.5 and was named to the Capital One Academic All-America Third Team. Wroblewski earned All- Ivy league honors after his final season during which he reached the 1,000 point milestone.
