- Jeff Foote (Cornell '10) played 6 minutes last night in the NBA as his New Orleans Hornets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves. Foote finished the game with 1 rebound. Recapping the game, the Times Picayune writes, "The Hornets have used 15 different starting lineups this season, and 13 players have started at least one game. When the team added center Jeff Foote on Friday from the NBA Development League’s Springfield Armor, he became the 19th player on the roster this season, and fourth 10-day signee." The Ithaca Journal adds, "Jeff Foote, who made his NBA debut Friday night for the Hornets, played six minutes. The Cornell and Spencer-Van Etten graduate had one rebound."

- Committed Cornell recruit, Robert Mischler (Mishawaka HS) Marian, IN, 6-2, G, scored 12 of his 14 points in the first half on Saturday night as his Marian team captured its regional championship over Andrean, a team with four projected Division I commitments. See recaps in the NWITimes and the South Bend Tribune. Mischler had 23 points in the semifinal win over Gary Wallace HS.
