- In NBA D-League action, Jeff Foote (Cornell '10) and his Springfield Armor defeated the Maine Red Claws last night, 100-91. Foote struggled with fouls (5) and shooting from the floor (3/9) and was limited to just 21 minutes of action. He finished with 7 points and 5 rebounds. See the recap in the Springfield Republican. The Armor are 25-19 and half a game back of Canton in the Eastern Division standings. The Armor are next back in action in the NBA D-League on Thursday, March 29 at 7 pm in a home game against Sioux Falls. All NBA D-League games are available to view online at no charge via the D-League's Futurecast. Foote is averaging 14.9 points and 8.6 rebounds per game in the D-League after being named a starter at the D-League's All-Star Game during February. As of today, Foote is ranked 5th in the D-League in double-doubles. He averaged 1.0 points and 1.5 rebounds per game in 4 games for the New Orleans Hornets during a 10-day contract between March 9 and March 19.

- The South Bend Tribune lists committed Cornell recruit, Robert Mischler (Mishawaka HS) Marian, IN, 6-2, G, among the selections of Academic All State. Criteria for nomination includes a 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale, a class rank in the upper 25 percent an SAT score of 1,500 or an ACT score of 23.
- Committed Cornell recruit, Nolan Cressler (Plum HS) Plum, PA, 6-4, G was listed on the roster of participants in the Roundball Classic All Star Game to be held April 21, 2012 at Geneva College. Rosters are posted in the Pittsburgh Post Tribune. Cressler also played on March 24, 2012 in the Cager Classic All Star Game at Highlands High School in Natrona Heights (PA) where he set the all-star game's 16-year single game scoring record with a 38 point performance.
