- The NBA D-League has posted its playoff bracket on its official website. Jeff Foote (Cornell '10) and his Springfield Armor face Canton in game 1 on Friday evening.
- Troy Torbert (Cornell '96) and Demitrius Zeigler (Cornell '98), former teammates for the Big Red under former head coach Al Walker, have partnered in the farming business to form Circle of Friends Farm in Oregon.
- A high school player from California who received some recruiting "interest" from Cornell and Columbia, committed to Cal-Riverside.
- In addition to earning honors from the Pittsburgh Post Tribune and being named to its Fab Five Team, committed Cornell recruit, Nolan Cressler (Plum HS) Plum, PA, 6-4, G, was named to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette's Terrific Ten Team. The Gazette writes:

One of the top shooters in the WPIAL, his 25 ppg led Class AAAA and boosted the Mustangs to the WPIAL quarterfinals. The Cornell recruit also had interest from Yale and Penn.
