News and Notes: Wednesday Edition

• Below, courtesy of YahooSports, a look at the game splits for Errick Peck for the 2010-2011 season, his sophomore year.  Peck sat out the 2011-2012 season with a knee injury, but returned to the court for practices with the team last February.  Reports from insiders around the program are that the junior eligible forward has looked ready for the 2012-2013 season and could elevate himself to among the league's top five players.  

• On the Ivy League's new television deal with NBC Sports Net, Raphielle Johnson of NBC Sports writes, "Being able to showcase their teams nationally, especially when they have a club like last year’s Harvard team or the 2010 Cornell squad that reached the Sweet 16, could help when dealing with the selection committee as well."

• Storming the Floor also comments on the new television deal.
