Continuing our series, A Date in Cornell Basketball History, above and below, The Daily Princetonian and the Cornell Daily Sun preview Princeton's first ever trip to Ithaca to face Cornell on March 17, 1902. Princeton won the game, 30-22 and swept the season series in the Eastern Intercollegiate Basketball League, the original precursor to the Ivy League. The EIBL's first season was the 1901-1902 campaign with Yale winning the league title. Princeton continues its tradition of more than a century by visiting Cornell this Friday night.
