Radford's five-game home stand hits the midway point Sunday when the Highlanders play host to Cornell in the final game prior to the Christmas holiday. Tip is set for 2:00 p.m. inside the Dedmon Center against the Big Red. RU (7-4) enters the game having won two straight and five of its last six. Cornell (5-4) has won three straight games, but has not played a contest in over two weeks due to final exams.
THE SERIES
Radford and Cornell played each other for the first time last November with RU taking an 86-71 decision in Ithaca, N.Y. The Highlanders have never lost to an Ivy League team (2-0) with wins over Cornell and Yale.

After going 2-26 a year ago with only one win over an NCAA Division I opponent, Cornell is making a case as one of the most improved teams in the country with a winning record through nine games. The Big Red last played December 6.

• R.J. Price has moved into 8th place all-time on the Radford scoring list (1,358).
