ITHACA -- The Cornell men's basketball team will close out the fall semester Saturday when it plays host to Lehigh at Newman Arena at 7 p.m.

The Big Red (2-4) will attempt to avenge a 60-57 loss last season in Bethlehem, Pa., one of 10 losses by five points or fewer the team suffered in in 2010-11. Cornell will also be trying to snap a two-game losing streak after losses to Delaware (72-64) and American (65-63).

Senior captain Drew Ferry is averaging a team-best 11.8 points per game, while junior forward Eitan Chemerinski and three-time Ivy League Rookie of the Week Shonn Miller are each scoring 10.2 points per game. Senior point guard Chris Wroblewski is averaging 9.7 points, 6.0 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals.

The Mountain Hawks are led by junior C.J. McCollum, the 2010 Patriot League player of the year. One of three double-figure scorers, McCollum is scoring 19.2 points per game with 5.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

Both Gabe Knutson (14.9 ppg., 4.4 rpg.) and Holden Greiner (12.4 ppg., 7.3 rpg.) are also averaging double figures this season. After dropping their first two games, the Mountain Hawks have reeled off six consecutive victories and are 5-2 away from home.

Cornell leads the series against Lehigh 12-9 and has won three of the past five meetings. McCollum hit a 3-pointer with 1:03 remaining to provide the winning margin for Lehigh last season.

The Big Red will take a two week break for final exams before resuming its pre-Ivy League schedule at 2 p.m. Dec. 17 when it plays host to Albany.
