Cornell's Shonn Miller takes home Ivy League Player of the Week...

Below, the release from the Ivy League Office.

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ivy League men’s basketball closes out the first month of the season and moves into the second with another full schedule this week.

All eight teams are in action among the 15 games spanning a five-day stretch. Six of eight teams play at least one game at home while Dartmouth heads out on its eight-game road trip and Princeton finishes off its four-game road swing.

The League is back on the NBC Sports Network this week with Harvard hosting Vermont on Tuesday night. Brown travels north to take on New Hampshire in its first television game of the season to be carried live by WBIN-TV and FOX College Sports.

Columbia grabbed the national spotlight last week with its 75-57 win at Villanova. It was the Lions' first win against a Big East Conference team since Nov. 30, 1985 (a 85-65 win at Seton Hall) and was just their second victory over Villanova since a 76-64 road triumph on Dec. 29, 1969, at the Spectrum.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Cornell sophomore forward Shonn Miller (Euclid, Ohio) averaged 12.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 62 percent from the field and 78 percent from the free-throw line in helping the Big Ref to a 2-1 week while earning all-tournament honors at the 2012 Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational. Miller opened the week with a 13-point, 12-rebound effort against then-unbeaten Arizona State in Tempe, adding three steals while making 4-of-6 shots. He was again in double figures with 10 points, five rebounds and three steals in an easy victory over Presbyterian before connecting for 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a block in 25 minutes against Longwood. He hit both three-pointers and 4-of-4 free throws, all in the final 30 seconds of a six-point win.
