KentuckySports.com Previews Cornell at L'ville

The Louisville Cardinals will take on Cornell Friday night in what should be a lopsided game. The No.3 Cardinals are playing extremely well, especially on the defensive end. Cornell, who is 0-3, is having issues on both sides of the ball.

Senior guard Russ Smith is coming off scoring 30 points Tuesday night against Hoftra. Smith is shooting the ball extremely well and looks as focused as ever. Even coach Pitino is singing his praises, which is different than in years past.

PG Chris Jones is also playing with a lot of discipline. The amazing thing, and Pitino has mentioned this several times, is that he played at a very fast tempo and doesn’t turn the ball over.

All players, including Kevin Ware, should be available for this game. Behanan and Hancock played some minutes Tuesday, it will be interesting to see ow the team develops as time goes on with everyone playing.

When: Friday at 7pm.
Where: The KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY.
